  Started as Inorganic Analyst and then moved to Semi-Volitile GC area, last year was spent doing Volitile GC and MS. Environmental sample including waste water, water, soil and Hazardous waste. I also did purchasing while working in the lab. The lab was sold a few times, hence the many names.

  Organic Chemist at an Environment lab, one of two people. I did extractions for Herbicides, pesticides, PCBs, PNAs, HAA5, 8270. Ran HPLC for PNAs. Ran GC for pesticides, PCBs, PNAs, HAA5. Backed up for inorganic, Bacteria tests and Hg.

  Stockroom manager, purchase all supplies for the chemistry department, maintain budget for department with COT and chair, Pay invoices on ONbase system, Write purchase orders and BID twice a year, hire and manage student employees for department, work with University safety officer to maintain safe lab experience for students, first responder for injured students, maintain chemical inventory, update lab preps and check that students have prepped and set-up labs correctly, train student employees and research students in use of stockroom and inventory, AP committee- for University. Safety Committee, budget committee, instrument committee - for chemistry department. I also teach intro chemistry lab (CHM 109) as adjunct overload. I have done this around 50 times over the last 15 years. Show less
