      Jun 2013 - Aug 2013
      CGMA Engineering Intern

Learned about the technical aspects of gait and movement analysis through use of technology and VICON software. Capstone project involved investigation and development of a method to convert data collected through VICON (motion capture software) to a usable format in OpenSIM, a musculoskeletal modeling software. Once achieved, health care professionals could collect data about muscle-tendon length during gait. This would be used as a diagnostic tool for patients with cerebral palsy or other musculoskeletal disorders. Show less

    • Mighty Oak Medical

      Feb 2016 - Nov 2021

Interfaced with orthopedic surgeons by designing and providing patient-specific surgical plans prior to spinal fusion surgeries. These plans contain screw trajectories for each vertebral level. Designed FIREFLY 3D Printed Guides to be used in the operating room. FIREFLY Technology mechanically constrains the surgeon to follow the pre-approved trajectories. The guides are single use, providing treatment that has been tailored to the patient's anatomy. Trained all incoming members of the Operations Team to the FIREFLY Design Process and assisted with various clinical research projects for Mighty Oak Medical pertaining to FIREFLY technology.
