  Supervise I&C activities for the first supercritical power plant in the middle east. Work included supervision of I&C design as part of EPCM work as well as coordinating and reviewing designs of more than 20 independent contracts including its subcontractors and suppliers.The next assignment was to work on the first project for the company shifting its role from Owner's Engineer (Architect) to an EPC contractor for engineering. This project is also the first project to be executed outside the country with a different Owner and different mind set. The responsibilities typically included those to be performed by a discipline supervisor, in addition to shifting all the work processes, mind sets, scheduling, budgeting and deliverables to suit an EPC contractor environment instead of that of an Owner's engineer.   Supervised I&C EPC Works for two (2) super fast track projects. The projects included the EPC works for two power generation projects, both to be executed in six (6) months only. First Project is New Assiut (8x125 MW gas turbines firing liquid distillate oil and heavy fuel oil), the second project is New West Damietta (4x125 MW gas turbines firing natural gas and liquid distillate oil).Supervised I&C EPC Works for two (2) additional projects.   I supervised the preparation of PGESCo I&C proposals to acquire the implementation of new power plants.Participated in middle and top management communications and negotiations with multiple entities to formulate the scope, cost and schedule required to execute the I&C activities.Presented proposals for different technologies, configurations and areas. The proposals activities included proposal preparation, RfP preparation, BoQ estimation, issuing and handling downstream subcontracts.The proposals included simple cycle gas turbine projects, combined cycle projects, power plants for oil and gas fields..
