  Designer

  The first two years out of college saw me drawing for residential and commercial buildings and gradually took responsibilities of architectural designing which I really enjoyed. The first case I took was the Yuan Tong stop on line 2 of Nanjing Metro System. At first, what I did was to carry out the drawings as the blueprint was done by the designing group. Gradually, I began to pitch in the designing work. In a year’s time, I assisted in the design of the Olympic stadium stop on line 1 of Nanjing Metro System. The projects that I assisted designed include a lakeside church in Suzhou (Du Shu Hu church), Church of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary, offices of Nanjing Education Examinations Authority, and Nanjing’s Jin Ling Library, to name just a few. The projects that I independently designed are churches of Cang Nan county and Feng Chi county in Zhejiang province and some cafeterias and hotels. Show less

  As the IKEA project design manager, my main tasks has included project quality control, coordinate between company standard and construction agency. Currently, I am taking responsible for 7 IKEA shopping malls rebuild and design (Wuhan IKEA store/ Wuxi IKEA store bridge project/ Beijing IKEA store/ Guangzhou IKEA store extension/ Chengdu IKEA store rebuild/ Xi’an IKEA store/ Hangzhou IKEA store etc). Meanwhile, as a co-worker in store design team, I also take responsible of managing IKEA store specifications library, which means I need collecting and updating new store architecture requirements from IKEA global and IKEA retail and then secure new coming project would follow them.
