      12 months of rotation in Interna Medicine, General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology, OBGYN1) Inpatient management of complex medical patients presenting with a spectrum of clinical pathologies2) 4 weeks in Emergency Department, including managing medical emergencies like Acute Coronary Syndromes, Status Asthmaticus, Upper GI bleed, Meningitis, severe sepsis, Respiratory failure and multiple infectious diseases like Dengue fever.3) 4 weeks in medical ICU, included managing critically ill patients. Experience included managing ventilator settings, performing central and arterial line placement.4) Weekly outpatient medical clinic, with exposure of a wide variety of chronic medical illness.5) Overall performed procedures including nasogastric tube placement, urinary catheterization, paracentesis, thoracentesis and lumbar puncture. Assisted in endoscopic procedures including EGD and Bronchoscopy.6) Weekly internal medicine didactics included journal clubs, M & M meetings and case presentations7) Independently performed phlebotomies, central line placement, skin suturing and closure, surgical wound debridement, ingrowing toenail wedge excision, and Incision and drainage of abscesses.8) Assisted multiple surgical procedures like, appendectomies, excision biopsies , laparoscopic cholecystectomies, thyroidectomies, mastectomies, emergency laprotomies and amputations.9) Management of minor and major trauma patients.10) 2 weeks of surgical intensive care rotation.1) Inpatient prenatal and postnatal care, CTG monitoring and induction of labour11) Managing obstretic emergencies like preeclampsia, eclampsia, gestational diabetes, gestational hypertension, twin gestations and shoulder dystocia. 12) Conducting independent episiotomies, spontaneous vaginal deliveries and pap smears13) Assisted classical and lower segment Cesarian sections, total abdominal hysterectomies, bilateral tubal ligation, VBAC and vacuum vaginal deliveries.
