  Novel Graphene Based Composites for Sustainable Water Purification, • Worked on developing and facile synthesis of two Graphene based composites for water purification at different mode of delivery.• Implemented the development and characterization of Graphene-Iodine based composites doped Polymeric membranes and thin films for enhanced anti-bacterial and anti-fouling properties by 28%.• Developed Graphene surface modified Metal Oxides doped Soda Lime Glass with 90% higher adsorption capacities for heavy metals like As, Cd and Pb up to 89 % rejection rate that can be implemented as an alternative to sand filter bed.• Used ICP-MS, Electron Microscopy, XRD, UV-Vis and IR Spectroscopy for characterizing the nanomaterials and optimizing a cost-effective Synthesis Route.• Co-Founded a startup for subsequent technology transfer to the industry and developed the World’s Smallest Water purifier Paanio, resulting in 1 patent and 1 publication.
