  The Moodle LMS Administrator role is an experienced-level position responsible for configuring, maintaining and administrating the college’s Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) application. This position has primary responsibility for resolving faculty Moodle-related technology support requests and collaborating with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve Moodle application errors and security vulnerabilities. This position has primary responsibility for developing and offering Moodle-related training to faculty and staff. This position holds responsibility for collaborating with vendors, the campus community and industry experts to develop and create additional features and customizations for the college’s Moodle application. Work includes optimizing systems performance, troubleshooting systems problems, and analyzing usage and systems load issues of a highly technical nature. Work may include interaction with customers, technicians, analysts, and specialists to troubleshoot problems related to the use of single and/or multiple information systems. Work may include creation, installation, and modification of software and hardware, testing, and documentation on a variety of platforms.
