  In my current role as a Building Envelope Consultant/Project Manager with CSA Building Sciences Western Ltd., I am involved with multiple projects in the field of Building Science for existing buildings and new construction ranging from Commercial/industrial, Institutional, Single-family dwelling, Multi unit residential rehabilitation and Multi unit residential new construction. Ongoing involvement in the industry helps me maintain an understanding of continually evolving standards and technologies. As a Building Envelope Consultant and Project Manager, my daily activities encompass a diverse range of tasks:• Active engagement in design and consultant team meetings.• Thorough review of architectural drawings, providing essential input on design details and construction methods related to the building envelope.• Construction documentation review including Shop Drawings, Submittals, RFI and Specifications.• Collaborating closely with AutoCAD technicians to prepare design documentation for permit applications, tender and construction document preparation.• Managing permit application documentation. • Conducting field reviews and preparing progress review reports for stakeholders.• Perform Building Envelope Condition Assessments and assist with post construction maintenance manuals.• Assist with warranty reviews at 2nd, 5th and 10th year anniversary of building completion.• Project management for Retrofit Projects• ASHRAE compliance documentation• Review of Thermal Performance and calculation of Assembly R-Values.
