      Began graduate work at Fordham University in the spring and summer of 1989 before transferring to the University of Delaware. Received a scholarship as well as working for the department head as an assistant.

      Earned a PhD in the Higher Education Leadership program in the College of Education & Human Performance.Thesis discussed a case study involving my home academic institution, the Florida Institute of Technology and the F.       Worked as a senior loan analyst in the Gold Option loan program. I had acquired a personal loan authority of $10,000 prior to leaving the company. Sold and serviced personal lines of credit up to $250,000 as well as debt consolidation loans up to $50,000. Worked as part of a team that also provided $1,000,000 lines of credit. Achieved top analyst four times during my tenure, each time with more than $1 million of activated debt consolidation loans in a single month. Activated loan: secured permission to transfer existing debt from other financial creditors to the debt consolidation loan. Average debt consolidation loan was between $20-$25,000 dollars. Show less

      I was an Assistant Professor in the School of Arts and Communication, specifically with the Department of Humanities, at the Florida Institute of Technology. I taught the US History surveys (2 courses) as well as the following courses: Western Civilization surveys (2 parts), WWII through Film (2 parts), the Introduction to Mythology, History of Science 2: Renaissance to the Present, and World War One. I taught courses in subjects as diverse as Japanese Samurai in History, Film, Literature and Popular Culture to courses in late 19th century British History and Literature.I also taught our summer semester abroad at Jesus College, Oxford for two years. I co-led study abroad trips to England, Austria & Hungary, and was the primary lead for an alumni focused tour entitled "From Normandy to the Eagle's Nest" in 2014. Show less I oversaw all academic assessment for Florida Tech, including oversight of General Education in my role as the Director of Academic Program Assessment. I chaired the Academic Programs Assessment Committee, a 12+ member committee that has oversight over all changes to academic assessment at Florida Tech. I have extensive knowledge in WEAVE as the assessment reporting software the university has used since 2011.I was also a SACS-COC reviewer and have presented at the Assessment Institute in Indianapolis.       In addition to my regular, full-time job, I adjunct as Professor of History teaching the three World History sequence courses. As of April 2024, I will be the first professor to have taught all three of the World History sequences that were introduced in 2021. I oversee all accreditation and assessment processes for the college, as well as managing a team of 8 assessment coordinators across campuses. I am the MSCHE ALO, NC-SARA LO, THECB ALO, NYSED ALO, and BPPE LO, interacting as the liaison officer for these accrediting and oversight bodies. As an effective team player, I am involved in several other campus initiatives and serve on several campus committees.
