  During my time off after my second year at BCU, I gained a job working with Wolverhampton City Council as an IT technician working with schools within and around the Wolverhampton area.I started working here from around June till September of 2014. My job entailed me to do various different computer and networking tasks on a day to day basis. Some of the tasks I was given whilst working there was to image all the Windows devices in the school, connect devices to a domain, set up wireless AP’s within schools and also maintain a secure network within the building. During my time there I worked closely with the E-Services Manager of the company, Neil Beards. Neil helped me craft the skills I had learnt at university and use them in real life situations, he also allowed me to learn more important skills such as being able to work in a corporate team, talk to customers effectively and informatively and also have the ability to tackle important tasks on my own.
