  Along with leading and training a committee of 24 dedicated individuals throughout the year in THON Weekend operations, I also planned, coordinated, and executed multiple moppings throughout the weekend to ensure a safe environment for everyone present. I helped my captain facilitate team bonding between 20 members to help everyone get to know each other and work well together. I also assisted in the set-up and teardown of THON weekend, ensuring that it ran as efficiently as possible. In this role, I organized and managed supplies that would be used throughout THON weekend by over 700 volunteers to ensure that the weekend ran as smooth as possible.

  At USLI, I executed weekly test cases as new code was added into our system to ensure that there were no bugs and everything worked correctly. I also undertook and led various projects that dealt with updating policies in our file management system and transitioning test cases from our legacy system to the new web system.

  Fleet Operations Intern

  Over the summer, I built a new dashboard from the ground up to better visualize our fuel statistics, spending, and where we could save money. I cut the time to build the report from 25 hours down to 30 minutes by automating the process, which also meant increased data integrity and accuracy. To make the dashboard more comprehensive, I performed joins on the data to relate the information from our two vendors to visualize everything together. In addition to the time saving and accuracy of the new report, it can also be used by various areas across the company to lower costs and increase efficiency. Show less
