  Working as a member of a team to achieve planned targets within predetermined time frames and experiencing the following: Involved in assistance of employees with selected tasks such as applying panels to switch gear systems and applying warning stickers to the panels of the switch gear systems. (Period: 1 week). Work experience was required to fulfill the criteria for passing a leaving cert module.

  I gained experience in all stages of pork processing from live animal to transportation/delivery of finished product. I was tasked with fulfilling orders independently and prepping these orders for dispatch and delivery. I was also tasked with cleaning equipment/machinery and work areas. I carried out cleaning of the grounds surrounding the factory as well. (Full time temporary summer role)

  Northern Ireland Water - Analytical Services.Laboratory accredited to ISO 17025:2017 standard.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Collection and Analysis and Chemical analysis of environmental samples comprising Water, Wastewater, Trade effluent, Sludge, and Soils. - Determinants include: Trace Metals, Organics, General pollution indicators (BOD, COD, pH, etc), and Microbiology.RESOURCE MANAGEMENT- Support scientific officers to forecast the best use of resources.- Support scientific officers to ensure effective housekeeping of work area and equipment. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT- Assist scientific officers to deal with internal and external customers and address theirconcerns or inquiries.- Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance confidence in thedata produced by the Northern Ireland Water Laboratories. - Assist with the communication of suppliersANALYSIS- Carry out analysis with the support of scientific officers to agreed turnaround times to ensureregulatory compliance is met.- Carry out analysis with the support of scientific officers to the required quality standards toensure ISO 17025 requirements are met.- Ensure all results are recorded and transcribed accurately onto LIMS. - Maintain laboratory quality management system and associated documentation.HEALTH & SAFETY- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met. -Comply and cooperate in full with regard to NI Water and Laboratory specific, health andsafety procedures.
