  This is an intensive 5 week workshop designed to assist academic researchers transfer their skills to data science. During the programme I worked in a group of four on a project with the CGG (a global leader in HPC).The aim was to provide a application that used a LLM to streamline the refactoring transformation from a jupyter notebook into production ready code. Additionally we were also tasked with quantifying the output of the LLM to measure performance of results. As part of the programme I: - Delivered presentations to the S2DS cohort as well as business leaders interested in data science.- Developed a working application, with a user interface using Click to build a CLI. Structured code modularly with the view for future functionality to be added.- Engineered LLM prompts for each stage, accessed the LLM with an API using the Langchain package, interpreted the results and measured the performance of the response using Pylama.- Generated and tested unit tests using Pytest.- Explored the benefits/cons of different LLM's and analysed the cost structure on implementing certain LLM's.- Collaborated with the other 4 members of the team through Git/Github.
