  Founded and established the local congregation starting with just his wife and one small baby. Was in the full-time ministry for almost 20 years and built the church to 100's in attendance. Also trained and appointed all or most of the present leadership. The church is still there after more than 29 years since Kent's retirement.

  In 1992 Dr. Field retired from the full-time ministry and founded a company that would employ technology to connect business with people. Out of this company, Video Interactive Advertising, came several kiosk based interactive advertising technologies that were employed at Airports, Hotels, and other public venues. This paved the way for VIA's ad creation and television commercial production services division which still successfully produces and airs broadcast quality television commercials today.In 1994 Dr. Field saw the tremendous business opportunity of the newly emerging Internet and branched out into providing Web Design and Hosting services for businesses of all sizes. Dr. Field also went on to become the Global Director of Web Development and Design for a Fortune 100 company and authored their global "style-guide". He then became an Information Technology Manager for a large national defense contractor. After his retirement from these positions Kent returned to his own company to establish and direct the operations of the newest corporate division, The Long Island Computer Guys!Long Island Computer Guys remains a family owned and operated business, "by Americans - for Americans"!
