  During my 2-month internship, I worked on the standardization of IC50 values in drug discovery, utilizing R programming for data preprocessing and normalization. This project deepened my understanding of data curation and its critical role in improving drug response predictions. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience in the literature review, identifying best practices for data preprocessing and analysis, as well as tool validation to assess the reliability of bioinformatics resources. I also worked on RNA-seq pipeline development, focusing on gene expression analysis for cancer research, and explored data searching techniques to extract meaningful insights from large-scale biological data. This internship provided valuable exposure to real-world bioinformatics applications, particularly in drug discovery and cancer research, enhancing my analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills. The project focuses on analyzing heterogeneity in metabolite expression across different cancers using metabolomics data. My work involves data retrieval, statistical analysis, and computational modeling to understand metabolic alterations in cancer. Additionally, I am utilizing Python and bioinformatics tools to perform multi-omics data integration and visualization.
