      Pakistan National AIDS Consortium (PNAC), was the largest network of civil society organizations working for the prevention and control of HIV and AIDS in Pakistan. It worked in collaboration with UNAIDS, EC, DFID and National AIDS Control Programme. As CEO, I was responsible for:● Ensuring accountability and transparency towards the Board of Directors, donors, beneficiaries and government authorities ● Contributing in the process of development of National Strategic Plan for HIV and AIDS initiated by National AIDS Control,● Lead the resource mobilization efforts coordinating with UNAIDS, NACP and other UN agencies.Represented NGOs working on HIV and SRHR on different international forums in Egypt, Thailand, Tunis, Sri Lanka and Nepal. Show less Tameer (Build) Project was a three-year project jointly funded by EU and DFID. The project aimed at building the capacity of NGO consortia and 350 NGOs for effectively responding to the issue of spread of HIV and AIDS among vulnerable groups like IDUs, FSWs, MSM, Transgender community and adolescent. As Project Director, I was responsible for ● Developing and implementing a comprehensive capacity development program comprising 5 ToTs and 77 cascade trainings for the consortia and partner member organizations.● Lead whole process of grant awards, management and M&E of 32 small grants being implemented with seventy-seven partner organizations. ● As SRHR expert provided technical assistance to partner organizations implementing small grants, ensuring mainstreaming of Rights Based Approaches across all interventions and development, Finalization and implementation of advocacy strategy.       Rutgers is an International organization known as a global center of expertise in sexual and reproductive health and rights with its programmes being implemented in fourteen countries across the world.As head of the programs, I led the development, management and delivery of all Rutgers ASRH Projects across all regions of Pakistan. I supervised and managed the programme team and ensured that work plans and progress reports are in line with contractual obligations. As head of programme, I was responsible to:● Provide technical backstopping and capacity building support to the partner NGOs involved in implementation of the program on comprehensive sexuality education, reducing gender-based violence, reducing the incidence of early and forced child marriages and adolescent sexual and reproductive health. ● Lead and guide the advocacy efforts for the policy reforms and introduction of youth, women and child friendly legislation. ● represent Rutgers as technical lead on different policy forums at national and international forums ● Work in close coordination with the head office in Netherlands to review and provide inputs for the strategic framework and plan. ● Contribute to the community of practitioners of comprehensive sexuality education formed by Rutgers to support the CSE programs in multiple countries.
