Developed the slurry backend processes of powder washing, dispersion, centrifuge and filtering. Worked in Australia for 1.5 year for the joint development of solid-state power synthesis process.   Conducting a Manufacturing Representative role for Korea CMP slurry & pad plant projects. Decide the building/process layouts, design the process control & data system, review the raw material supply/EHS/ SOP/EHS/compliance issues and organize the training/commission/start-up/plant qualification activities. Quality issue resolution, tech services and inter-site coordination for global Samsung and SK Hynix accounts in Korea/China/US and Dow manufacturing sites in Taiwan/US. Primary contact for all Korea-based customers’ complaints and requests. Prioritize customer requests/needs and align the responses globally. Responsible for driving improvements and align the quality roadmaps. Work with regional sales/marketing teams and quality/manufacturing/engineering teams around the globe. Led the capital projects of build a new plant/lab and installing new equipments for expanding electronic materials business in Korea. Led a semiconductor plating applications lab project($5.7MM), OLED fabricator project($2.3MM) and a lab x-ray installation project($95M). Focal point to resolve the quality, performance and other technical issues arising from the use of CMP pad products in Samsung account. Fix the root causes, improve process and report the progress to customer.
