      Research Project: The Korean Youth and the N-P'o Sedae.Currently South Korea faces a rapid aging population, a concerning rate of suicides, a high rate of migration, addiction to social media and a progressive worsening of competitivity among youths. These and other phenomena have been identified partially as implications of the N-P’o Generation phenomenon and – more generally – of the interactions of South Korean youths. However, albeit the severity of this frame, we do not have a clear understating of the N-P’o Sedae and Korean youth’s interactions today and, thus, it appears to be impossible to efficiently act in order to limit negative phenomena as the ones described above. Also, new important phenomena related to the Korean youths could arise. The research aims to address those issues by answering the following two questions through case studies: What is the N-P’o Generation today and how is the Korean youth doing nowadays? What are relevant variables for potential problem-solving actions towards Korean youths’ struggles? Show less
