  Totnes Caring is celebrating 31 years as a local Charity offering help & assistance to elderly, disabled & vulnerable people living in Totnes & surrounding areas enabling them to live independently at home for as long as possible. We provide befriending, shopping, transport to health related appointments, fuel poverty support, ensuring people are on and receiving correct benefits, lunch clubs from Monday to Friday, Dementia Café every Friday, signposting for other services as well as running a number of regular clubs to help combat social isolation.   In addition to Totnes Caring I also supported Volunteering ih Health as Chief Officer for two years, plus another six months on a voluntary basis. Working closely with Health and Social Care and other Voluntary organisations the Charity supported people (mainly elderly) to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible and free from social isolation
