      I had to ensure that all customer entering our swimming pools were always safe. My main responsibilities were to prevent drownings and to rescue anybody experiencing a near drowning. I had to ensure that the facility was kept neat and tidy and assist with first aid duties. We also had to ensure that the water was safe and clean at all times.

      My key role was testing water samples (by means of jar tests) of various municipalities in the western cape and finding the correct chemical composition to ensure that the water is within SANS 241 specifications. My responsibilities included recording of all data and calibration of the laboratory equipment. Writing up of the SOPS and reports was also done by me. I was also assisting the production team with the manufacturing of liquid sodium aluminate. We tested the product using a titrotherm.Going out onto water treatment plants and converting them from a certain chemical regime to a liquid aluminum and sodium aluminate chemical regime. Part of my administration duties included setting up purchase orders, getting quotes and doing the inventory.I was part of the market team, meaning we had to maintain client satisfaction and grow our data base.Customer service was a priority thus we were constantly improving our services by allowing costs reductions and perfect water quality.       I am responsible for assisting students with their applications for an international education loan. It is my duty to alleviate any problems a student may have while filling out their application through to the verification, fulfillment and the servicing (payments) part of the funnel. We communicate through chats, emails or calls using Zendesk.I would assist students with any payment queries regarding interest, statements and confirming whether payments have been received and allocated accordingly and how international payments can be made. When working in the servicing department we would work on 2 different payment systems to ensure that we assist the students to the best of our abilities. I am also responsible to call and remind students who are to start repayments and assist them on how to make international payments and understanding their monthly statements. Show less
