This is a COTS product developed by the organization for re-sale purposes. The solution would be customized to the clients’ needs and deployed at the client-site. This project was the customization of the product to fit the need of a government agency that regulates Insurance providers.

  The project was to create Membership Database & Subsidy Payment System (MDSPS), a web application to manage the processing of administrative health services of eligible customers under Senior Prescription Drug Assistance Program (SPDAP). Some of the functions are create/deny/appeal/approve applicants for eligibility determination, manage Coordination of Benefits (COB) with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), maintain/revoke membership, assist customers to maximize their benefits, generate official letters/forms for application packets, 1st, and 2nd level appeals, recertifications, etc. Various informational and managerial reports can be generated by addressing the required inputs in the drop-down menu for that report. The level of authoritative tasks that a user can perform is also managed within the application by designating required roles to that user. The application adheres to HIPPA, SOC2 Type2 compliance.
