  I have contracted with Ethicon Endo Surgery (EES) consecutively for 5 years on 12 primary projects for the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) starting from definition, to requirements gathering, design, construction, deployment, and support. I have also helped facilitate the retirement of a few web applications. I have been responsible for full documentation ranging from project charter, use cases, object models, trace-ability matrices, as well as coordinating Quality reviews at the close of each phase of the SDLC. Because EES is a medical devices company, they were subject to Part 11 and Sarbanes – Oxley scrutiny for all of their web applications and I have participated in the rigorous testing and documentation for these requirements. I’ve also seen these solutions through production delivery and phased upgrades. I’ve even seen some solution retirement and archival processes. Because Fidelity is a financial services firm and Ethicon a medical devices company, I’ve implemented compliant solutions to government and industry regulations like SEC compliance, Part 11, and Sarbanes – Oxley.
