  This was the first of two x 500 hour student placements as part of the Master of Social Work program. I worked with the Emergency Management team for Victoria’s North region as part of the Department of Health’s Emergency Management and Regional Public Health Branch.

  DWDV played a key role in securing end-of-life choice legislation for Victoria in 2017. Our focus now is to provide information, education and guidance to the Victorian community and the health sector regarding various medical and legal aspects of the VAD law, so that all Victorians can choose to have a good, dignified death. In my role, I support DWDV's ongoing work to promote genuine end-of-life choices and equitable access to VAD for all Victorians.
