Sibo's responsibilities included drafting memoranda for attorney and clients regarding investigative activities, conducting client meetings at DC correctional and treatment facilities, and locating and interviewing witnesses. Sibo also photographed, diagrammed, and measured crime scenes, and took witness statements. Sibo also developed discovery plans, drafted discovery requests and responses, prepared document productions, conducted massive document reviews, and independently led discovery meet and confer sessions with opposing counsel. Throughout her three years at Kirkland, Sibo worked on several jury trial and arbitration teams, including a contractual dispute with a television network regarding a packaging commitment, a complex contractual and labor claim dispute against multiple defendants, an accounting fraud and breach of contract arbitration, and a toxic tort action involving products liability and personal injury claims. Sibo played an integral role on each trial team, and her contributions included drafting direct and cross-examination questions, creating slide presentations for opening statements and closing arguments, negotiating and drafting jury instructions, preparing witnesses for examinations, and maintaining and overseeing extensive exhibit lists. Sibo also devoted a substantial amount of time to pro bono work.
