  Through my internship with a company called Hashtag Orange, a full-service digital company that has various areas to work under such as social media, strategy and planning, performance marketing, technology and creative design, I was able to gain a comprehensive understanding of topics such as cost-effectiveness of digital marketing strategies as well as vast amounts of data on consumer behaviour and preferences. I got an insight into how by applying concepts such as market segmentation allows businesses to use data to better understand consumer behaviour and tailor make their marketing strategies accordingly.
