  Responsible for ensuring import/export compliance for both Mexican and U.S. Customs and country specific trade laws and coordinating with Littelfuse manufacturing facilities/vendors and Corporate. Part of a cross-functional compliance team and interface with US/Mexican trade officials, port representatives, CBP & BIS offices in Washington and its responsible for implementing strategies to meet Global Import Export Compliance Group’s objectives. Playing a key role in driving the company's globalization efforts.• Manage, audit and constantly improve Littelfuse trade processes including all documentation, recordkeeping, systems and qualification processes.• Manage and track all US imports for compliance given US Customs Directives.• Oversee the compliance of outbound shipments from Mexico commensurate with all statutory requirements.• Manage all shipments of controlled materials versus US Census records.• Audit and track all outgoing exports for compliance with US Commerce Directives.• Construct and maintain compliance metrics relative to trade risks and exposures. • Develop and track key performance indicators for group’s outputs.• Maintain compliance metrics relative to US Customs exam results and implement necessary changes within the organization to address specific deficiencies.• Maintain SAP GTS import inputs, outputs and procedures. • Train functional groups to ensure continued compliance within stated minimum standards or "best practices."• Assist in HTS classification, ECCN and Country of Origin determination.• Oversee a compliant records management program consistent with US and Mexican regulations.• Manage Duty Drawback and ACS Reconciliation programs• Author new or update current import & export procedures for the Department’s compliance manuals and desktop procedures.
