      Person in this role needs to have huge GDS knowledge to be able to help the colleagues with their inquires. It includes not only the support of team members but the communication with ticketing partners as well where the professional insight is needed. GDS Ticketing & Process Specialist play the crutial role in terms of improving existing processes and making clear that processes are understandable. Promotion which brings me new challenges. If it is needed, Trainer on Demand provides additional training for his/her current colleagues or even for new team members. It can be connected with just work in GDS, mainly ticketing transactions, or even with some update of procedures. Trainer on Demand trains not just European colleagues, but has even opportunity to train newbies or current team members in vendor sites. Promotion which gives agent more responsibility. Agent still handling the same requests as he/she is used to but right now needs to solve more complicated cases, such as name correction, processing of flight changes and refunds in Amadeus, Galileo and Farelogix. Handling customers requests connected with reservations which has been made via GDS (Amadeus, Galileo) and Farelogix. The requests can be various - ticketing, refund calculation, cancellation, flight change, special services etc. In some cases the active communication with airlines is needed.
