  People and Their Brilliance are a Kickstart Gateway, matching jobseekers to employers and providing employability training. Kickstart was a government-funded scheme to support young people to join the workforce during COVID-19.My role as a Recruitment Administrator was to manage candidates through the recruitment workflow including screening applications, scheduling interviews, and liaising between candidates, employers, and job centres.

  As a Talent Acquisition Consultant at Direct Line Group, I work with our senior leadership teams (including ExCo-1) on recruitment, across our Security (CISO) and Pricing & Underwriting functions. I'm responsible for 360 head office recruitment - managing 25-30 vacancies at a time. I'm also involved in several projects including enhancements to Workday Recruiter, Internal Careers portal, and supporting Employer Brand related pieces of work. I also support the Group Executive Search Lead on market mapping and candidate engagement.At Direct Line Group, insurance is just the start. Whilst studying towards my qualification I also worked a full-time role within the Talent Acquisition CoE (Centre of Expertise). This team was responsible for Data, Technology, Executive Search, Pricing & Underwriting and Agile recruitment, which was a key focus for Direct Line Group at the time. The mission of Direct Line Group in 2021 - 2023 was to become a technology and data-led organisation which our team played a crucial part in!
