This research is performed in the scope of the ColFOWT (Collision against Floating Offshore Wind Turbines) project, currently undergoing in France. The objective of this project is the development of a rapid assessment tool for ship-OWT collisions. A user-friendly and computationally efficient way for analysts to estimate the impact response of wind turbines in applications such as risk analyses and optimization procedures.
