Naufal introduced the concept of a condition monitoring system for rotating machinery based on vibration analysis. The proof of concept built costs less than 200,000 IDR (apx. 13 USD) and proves to be capable of automatically detecting basic machinery faults such as bearing defects based on the measured time-series vibration that was periodically transformed & processed in the frequency domain.
