  Molecular Diagnostic Laboratories is a JHU pathology laboratory that conducts numerous diagnostic tests including but not limited to bone marrow engraftment assays, micro-satellite instability, and telomere length measurement via flow cytometry and FISH. My responsibilities include sample pick-up from the hospital, scanning/filing tissue slides, and various other administrative tasks.

  I am researching the potential therapeutic attributes of extracellular vesicles in promoting resolution in stimulated microglia. Microglia are the resident immune cell of the brain and play an integral role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's Disease making them a promising therapeutic target.
