Mar 1998 - Jul 2021The scope of my current role, is now to oversee the day-to-day workings of all departments within Muldoon Tiles, Logistics, Accounts and ProcurementKey Deliverables• Driving change management behaviors and accountability with key stakeholders internal and external to the business• Drive simplification and reduction in CODB within these key channels – Working Smarter• Identify key areas of internal and external Procurement that require streamlining, leading to a reduction in time and departmental touch points.• Management of internal systems and program upgrades – CRM, Accounting, Logistics• Warehouse and Distribution center concept design and execution – to ensure best practice handling for goods received and inventory storage• Management of all product and international production negotiation, to maximize value return potential.• Running joint shared objective planning sessions with key customers, including internal and external stakeholders ensuring that driving key business imperatives are on track, reviewed and on point to deliver Show less I took on this role to drive new local relationships within the WA Architects Association and increase the partnership opportunities to intern grow and exceed a profit return for Muldoon Tiles I worked through the following actions to deliver on this:• Engagement of key internal and external suppliers/manufactures, to create a solid client base• Set up one on one exploratory meetings, to ensure that all parties where engaged and clear on all opportunities and potential benefits • These fact finding sessions allowed me to work up a niche market based around product specification requirements, client education needs and through Muldoon’s portfolio effect their CODB based on current specification from the Asian market verse European• Once these local clients were on board, I set up a simplified communication structure for “ways of working”, which provided clarity around expectations and key deliverables for all parties• Based on these relationships and new cliental, I was able to deliver increased profits of over $600k to Muldoon Tiles Show less Key Accountabilities & Achievements:• A shared key imperative was the delivery of product on time and in full (DIFOT), engaging with key stakeholders I ascertained the areas of opportunity (within Logistics both internal/ external), created relevant step changes through detailed “Point Plans” with these stakeholders, and set up a monthly review framework• The key component of the role was Project Management through to job completion, ensuring I met the timeline expectations set between myself and “said” client• Defined and clarified each project scope while ensuring both Internal and External business objectives where met, through various forms of communication. (weekly executive meetings, review and summary’s updates.• Leading and coordinating key deliverables across all relevant departments, ensuring clear team direction and motivation of all members• Measuring, evaluating and corrective actions ensuring objectives were met by “said” date• From the above steps, each project was successfully launched on time, over 18 International brands in partnership with McDonalds, Woolworths and Coles, driving significant value contribution and a successful outcome for both parties• After each launch, I created and set up a simplified "Promotional/Project Review" template enabling some key learning discussions and actions between internal departments and external stakeholders, thus reducing the opportunity for error in future projects Show less The scope was to complete tiling construction contracts with specified products nominated by the sales team.
