Sept 2003 - nowExperimenting with daily rhythms in cells and in physiology in order to discover new startegies and interventions for the prevention and management of chronic diseases like obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and depression. Teaching Gross Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Histology, and Embryology for medical students in English, German and Hungarian languages.- Secured research grants of Hungarian funding bodies (OTKAPD, PTEAOK-KA)- Supervised 6 undergraduate and 2 PhD students involved in the research, from idea to publication of 3 last-authored papers. - Secured further funding from a non-governmental body (Norwegian SpareBank1) for one international PhD student`s research project (Siri Kommedal) - Collaborations established with other laboratories (Japan, UK) - Instrumental in the establishment of the Anatomy Department’s Molecular Biology Laboratory Show less

We have developed a high throughput live cell imaging pipeline for the automated detection and quantification of genetically encoded fluorescent reporters of relevant processes.
