While in this position I gained experience with direct push soil and groundwater sampling, remediation of chlorinated solvents, fuels and metals using Enhanced In-Situ Bioremediation (EISB), Chemical Oxidation (ISCO), Chemical Reduction (ISCR) and others using a wide array of methods and equipment.

  While at Cascade in Concord, I transitioned from Operations Manager to Business Unit Manager with both the Concord, CA and Portland, OR offices with P&L responsibility and overall management. While in this position, I had a great supporting cast which enabled the growth of the respective businesses by capturing a large market share of remediation services in both regions. Management included technical sales, administrative, project managers, field supervisors, mechanics, and field staff. As the Operations Manager, I oversaw the maintenance, scheduling, and cost estimating of all projects. Additionally, I was heavily involved in the oversight and implementation of new training initiatives, Health and Safety programs, and other tasks.
