Held multiple positions within the command.- Liaison Officer (LNO) - Deployed to the Philippines and worked under the Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) and coordinate Naval Construction Forces operation in country. Surveyed Humanitarian Aid projects for future execution by U.S military forces. Conducted engineering surveys in support of bilateral Philippines-US military exercises.- Assistant Company Commander - Planned and executed the participation of his company, NMCB FIVE Detail 74, in the Joint Exercise Pacific Blitz. Conducted the pre-exercise site survey, organized the execution of 5 projects ranging from the placement of a gym facility concrete pad to an ammunition storage earth berm.
