  My two primary responsibilities were to drive the corporate performance strategy and to create and develop an FP&A team.Delivery of the former was achieved by implementing organisational KPI reporting, redesigning the budget and forecast process (including a new resource cost model and resource cost allocation process) and rolling-out a new integrated cost reporting framework with clear and consistent reporting.Aside from the hiring of additional staff, the latter was achieved by outlining a clear mandate and set of objectives and responsibilities for the FP&A team. It was supplemented by coaching the wider finance team and close collaboration and partnering with business management team, which promoted the prominence of the FP&A team within the organisation.Secondary responsibilities included management of the organisational risk management process, implementation and roll-out of business intelligence application (Power BI) and managed asset and corporate modelling to test going concern, viability and impairment assertions for financial statements.
