  After an influx of players at an age group I was already helping in, I took over running a new team within the club from the age of 12. This involved all of the things that go with running a team (ringing opposition managers, marking pitches, leading sessions etc) and gave me valuable experience from a young age. I also ran the Ladies team at the club for two years before moving away to university.

  Kings camps are multi-sport camps for children that run nationally. As part of these camps, children can select to play football every morning within a week. At the camp in Cheltenham, I was lead football coach, taking groups of 8-13 players with an age range of 5-11.This involved following a syllabus of learning, creating my own practices to help the children learn, and adapting these practices for the vast range of age and abilities within the group.   UEFA B Licence UEFA Nov 2014 After coaching since the age of 12, and attending many NGB courses along the way, I applied for the UEFA B Licence at the earliest possible opportunity once, I had reached the minimum age of 21. The course lasted for 17 days spread over 7 months, and I passed the final assessment at the first attempt. This was a massive personal achievement, and something I had to work hard at in order to achieve.   London 2012 Torchbearer - May 2012 I had the honor of carrying the Olympic Flame on its journey across the country, after being nominated by a family friend. I was selected for this due to my many years of coaching within the local community, that had seen me start at the age of 12. I was responsible for running coaching sessions, running the team on matchdays, marking pitches out, setting up goals, ringing opposition managers, referees and parents and general team admin.
