Main activities are:• Evaluate design’s compliance to the Engineering Best Practices.• Develop DFMEAs to identify failure modes, causes of failures and the risk associated.• Develop and execute Design Validation Plans to test and validate a design’s critical features.• Develop Tools, Test procedures and Acceptance criteria that need to be included in the Design Validation Plan, in conjunction with Test Engineers.• Collaborate with Chief Engineering for design updates/design changes and with CAE team/Test Engineers to validate them.• Deliver parts/Hardware to pilot builds.• Provide guidance to suppliers by scheduling weekly meetings, giving them clear directions on resourcing, design, or process changes.
