  I was solely responsible for the planning and updating all legacy systems to address the "Millennium Bug". Running approximately 25 bespoke systems supplied by an in-house development team. Systems were running on a VAX VMS "mini" mainframe. Coded in Pascal & VMS BASIC. Employed on three year contract to update all systems and database tables so as to ensure Y2K compliance. This task was completed by August in1999. Then seconded to aid in the completion of the "Global Marketplace" project. An application allowing market and customer information to be synchronised globally via secure internet connections. Application coded using Lotus Notes & Domino. Show less

  Responsible for developing and delivering the Measurement and Analysis process, supporting tools and guides to aid the organisational objective of attaining CMMI ML3. Process was initially delivered and signed off in january 2008. However due to problems encountered in other process areas the project failed to deliver all its goals and a re-scoping investigation was performed in February. This lead to a re-launch of the project to achieve CMMI accreditation at ML2. The Measurement and Analysis process was issued in September 2008. CMMI ML2 awarded March 2009. This team was also responsible for implementing & promoting the Land Registry Unified Process (LRUP) methodology across the development department. Within this team I have performed the roles of Business\Systems Analyst, Software Architect, metrics analyst on several projects as well as giving guidance and advice to development Technical Team Leads regarding all aspects of the software development process/ life cycle. The group also played the key role in the training and mentoring of developers, to this end I have written and led several in-house courses including the more technically difficult aspects of WIN32 development such as COM.
