  As an intern, I was assigned to observe the construction of a grassroot reciprocating Natural Gas compressor site. My primary responsibilities included: studying and interpreting Civil and Mechanical Engineering Design Drawings and P&IDs in order to assist with construction. In addition, I also conducted a material breakdown of components to identify governing pressures for Pressure Testing, diminished the effects of working in a congested area within the compressor building by identifying risks and communicating between different operating groups, and attended and conducted safety briefings as a member of the inspection team.
