  As principal investigator of research projects funded by the Resource Legacy Foundation and California's Ocean Protection Council, I'm leading interdisciplinary teams comprised of students, academic researchers, and resource managers to conduct a) a collaborative climate vulnerability assessment of California state-managed fisheries resources; and b) a participatory research initiative designed to identify and address barriers to ocean access and benefits across disadvantaged and tribal communities in central California.
