      This is a brief project on the Performance Appraisal methods and the deliverable expected from the employees in order to complete the appraisal process. The result of the study was that employees agree that the targets were achievable and that they did receive due feedback from the management on what should they be improving on. Employees also agreed that the appraisal process was unbiased and transparent. Which speaks about the company's ethics.Since this project was done for a period of just 2 months, it is limited to the data received from the employees in the form of questionnaire and the result is the analysis of the same.       This internship report is on the employee separation process at Bosch India. The problem faced by the company was that the time they take to complete the full and final settlement of an employee who leaves the company is trending more than the industry average. Their short term goal is to reduce the same to less than 30 days in the near future and the ultimate goal is to set a process in place where the employees receive the full and final settlement on the last day of working.To make this happen, there were series of meetings, continuous improvement plans and sessions held with all stakeholders the current state mapping of separation process was formed and the non-value adding processes were identified along with processes that can be modified or removed completely.There was a workshop conducted with all the stakeholders and on rigorous analysis and scrutiny, all the non-value adding resources were either eliminated or improvements were proposed. The proposed action plan was duly noted and each team put forth their SLA to get them into practice. At the end of the day, the result was in reducing the lead time. Show less
