  As a peer advisor at the NU Academic Advising Unit, my main responsibilities include providing educational guidance and assistance for students by planning schedules, recommending courses and determining appropriate education solutions for different types of students. I also follow through and track the advancement of students. Rigorous selection required me to possess some exceptional qualities such as responsibility, academic integrity and willingness to make an impact. My main areas of interest are econometrics and development economics. I am also interested in studying behavioral economics and different social phenomena relating economics.

  As an intern at JS NAC "Kazatomprom" at the market analysis department I performed various tasks delegated by the manager. My main responsibility was to conduct a research into the potential partners for the company trading some rare metals such as Be and Ta due to their growing scarcity in Kazakhstan. The analysis was carried out by Bloomberg and Asian Metals co. My main findings were that Brazil and the Middle East are potentially optimal countries for commercial exploitation.

  I founded the ‘Educational Excellence’/‘EDEX’ educational center that provides such academic services as college counseling and preparation for international language competence exams. The main area of this educational project is to help applicants successfully receive internationally acknowledged scholarships for academic degrees.
