  Crowdfunding campaign

  As part of my CAS activity, I led a successful crowdfunding campaign under Ketto for the Myna Mahila Foundation, a women empowerment NGO focused on addressing menstrual health and poverty. This initiative supported the production and distribution of affordable sanitary pads in urban slums, while also raising awareness about menstrual hygiene and tackling related social taboos.Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the challenges women face, such as limited opportunities for growth and lack of awareness about essential health issues.   I had the rewarding opportunity to mentor Year 7 students as part of Ignite Mentoring's 9-week Resilience Program. Through weekly sessions, I connected with students to facilitate activities aimed at boosting their confidence, self-esteem, and participation. Building a rapport with the students was a highlight, as it allowed me to create a supportive environment where they could step out of their comfort zones and develop critical soft skills.Key takeaways from this experience include the value of positive mentor-mentee relationships, the power of promoting a growth mindset, and the importance of fostering resilience in young learners.
