      As a team member at The Artery I helped with a variety of things: Customer Service, cashiering, cleaning, stocking, organizing, framing assistance, and events. I was often tasked with creative jobs, such as coming up with ideas for, or making pieces for the window displays. Additionally, I am currently an administrator for the Facebook page, so I also help with promotion and public communication.

      SCMP Intern

      As an SCMP intern I was tasked with completing a continuous improvement project and also a safety project. I implemented improvements to reduce set up time for the mills in a machine shop. I also worked to improve 5S+ within the mill cell. In order to identify potential areas of improvement I conducted time studies, both by video and by hand. A common theme throughout the internship was visual management, making any posting or standard visual in order to eliminate any misinterpretations.

      Energy Engineer

      My primary role at VaCom technologies was providing performance monitoring services to customers via EnergyDashboard and performance monitoring. This included analysis of system performance based on data from the refrigeration controls system, both in its raw form and with analytics. I lead performance monitoring review web meetings, providing insights into system performance, expected operation, and recommendations for improvements. I also serve in other capacities as an engineer at VaCom Technologies including customer training, energy analysis, and various consulting work for customers. Show less
