  Project Description:Al-Shaqab Equestrian Club project is consisting of different buildings; Performance Arena, Breeding Center, Veterinary Hospital, Accommodations and Administration buildings, the total estimated cost of the Al-Shaqab is approximately 5 billion Qatari Riyals. Al-Shaqab project is mainly served from a main plant supplying chilled water, potable and Fire-Irrigation water to the sub-plants.- The chilled water system of the sub-plants is totally consisting of 16 units of circulation pumps, 16 units of plate heat exchangers, 60 air handling units, 500 fan coil units with total approximated load of 8000 KW. HVAC, Fire Fighting and Potable Water Systems are all controlled by programmable logic control and building management systemsResponsibilities:- Supervision on installation of mechanical services;1- Air Handling units, Chilled Water Pumps and other HVAC equipment2- Underground piping installation and chemical cleaning for chilled water, Fire, Irrigation, plumbing and drainage.3- Installation and Insulation for HVAC equipment and chilled water piping- Inspecting materials delivered to site-Testing and commissioning of the following systems; 1-HVAC equipment 2-Air and water balancing. 3-Fire fighting sprinkling system including the interface between HVAC and Fire alarm 4-PLC and BMS including graphics review- In addition to the above I am also involved in the following works;1-Shop drawings and As-Builts drawings review2-Material transmittals review 3-Responding to RFIs 4-Operation and Maintenance manuals review 5- Coordination with other disciplines in implementing MEP services 6-Prepare pertinent documents and follow up with civil defense for approvals.- Additional assisting roll in the supervision of the following Projects:Central Plants; Total capacity of 11000 KW consisting of 11no. cooling tower, 11 chiller, Primary pumps, condenser pumps and secondary pumps.
