  Design/Project Engineer, with Mercury Engineering's Fire Protection Department, on the 1272 Upside Project for Intel, Kildare. This project was a retrofit of several Fab buildings located around the Intel Campus. I played a key role in this project from initiation to close-out. I was responsible for the preparation and coordination of clash-free BIM models and fabrication of shop drawings for the fire protection system. I represented Mercury Engineering's at coordination meetings involving the client, consultants, and multiple contractors. I worked very closely with Mercury's construction management team conducting field surveys and verifications to ensure the designs for the fire protection systems were compliant with International standards, practical for on-site installation, and compatible with other structural/mechanical systems designed by other contractors. Involved in managing and scheduling documentation of all matters related to the Fire Protection systems and tracking submittals on Intel's coordination system. This included IFF submittals, 2D Record Drawings, 3D Model file submittals, Design Verification packs, Permits, RFI’s, etc. Show less
