      I am Regional Manager for the Ipswich Trading Site, managing a team of 10 people servicing the brokers in East Anglia. The classes of business underwritten on site are Commercial Property, Combined, Casualty and Motor Insurance. I also have responsibility for the SME e-trade and PROFIN needs of our brokers.A key part of my role is to have strong relationships with our regional brokers and ensure that my team do likewise to enable us to maximise our broker penetration when Trading business opportunities arise. I have responsibility for ensuring that the Site is a success, delivering our annual plan through target KPI's across Rate Retention and New Business. I provide monthly updates and forecasting on our progress towards plan as well as a Quarterly Business Review to provide an overview of the quarter and setting key actions for the period ahead. Setting the strategy for the regional business, working with key stakeholders including Sales to design and develop a plan to deliver against targets. I have responsibility to deliver customer propositions that meet the needs of our local Broker and Customers to increase our penetration of local opportunities.With my underwriting background I utilise my high underwriting licence to decide which risks we can write or renew and to provide training to the team at Ipswich and elsewhere within the Group as required.I am part of the Commercial Leadership Team for the Regional Business and collectively we are responsible for managing performance and service to the required levels, reviewing practices and implementing new or improved ways of working to respond to the needs of both the Customer and the Market.I am responsible for leading and developing the team to help them achieve their personal goals, providing support and direction to enable the Team goals and KPI's to be achieved.
