I managed complex events to include the supervision of upwards of 100 clinicians form mixed professional groups. During events I would respond to critical cases and oversaw the thrombolysis of two patients presenting with STEMI.I introduced training packages to enable non doctor defibrillation by nurses and first aiders and provided f ICU nursing escort to the stadiums private ambulance service. Clinical role included responding to all types of emergencies within a busy 700 bedded hospital and as set clinical shifts within the hospitals emergency department primarily based within the resuscitation area. I was the non medical prescribing lead for the trust, deputy chair Trauma Delivery Group, deputy chair Resuscitation Committee as well as member of Major Incident group, patient safety group and D&T. Oversaw quality of data entered on to the TARN database ensuring optimal patient care.I set up nurse lead rapid access chest pain clinic to include governance structure. Instigating full range of imagining and functional testing for diagnosis of CVD with onward referral and initial treatment. I was involved in developing the refurbishing of two emergency departments to include an entirely new emergency department incorporating an 8 bedded resuscitation area, helipad and 6 bedded decontamination room. The decontamination room was designed to enable on going patient treatment, during decontamination, which reflected the findings of my PhD. Show less

The Ambulance Service responds to approximately 750-1100 daily calls utilising road and air assets and employs 2000+ paramedics and associated clinicians. HMCAS is a complex service involving critical care, ambulance care, international transport and an urgent care clinic at Hamad International Airport, a major transport hub. I hold 24/7 responsibility for delivering of prehospital care, answering directly to the CEO and leading an established executive team. I have been directly involved in advising, supervising and attending numerous mass gatherings within the State of Qatar, culminating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, building on my established event experience gained within the UK. I have worked at the silver and gold command level, and during the FIFA World Cup, I was on a 1-in-2 24/7 Gold command rota for the State of Qatar.
