Blackwood Coal is a coal exploration and development company established in November 2009. Since then the Company has acquired a portfolio of 33 EPCs/EPCAs in the Bowen, Surat/Clarence Moreton and Galilee coal basins in Queensland, 10 of which have been granted. It has a pipeline of projects which range from advanced exploration requiring resource definition drilling to conceptual lateral opportunities to be tested by scout drilling.In August 2011 I took up a role as Technical Administrator in which I provided support in various sectors of the company such as Document Control, Research, and creation of company website. I also played a valuable role in the completion of the company's IPO in which they hope to raise a total of $34 million and list on Australian Stock Exchange. In doing this I have provided support in creating the Prospectus and liasoning with major Companies such as Norton Rose and ELP. I played a pivotal role in the verification of this document.
